We are currently working with Carilion Clinic and they are seeking Primary Care locums coverage this fall in Pearisburg, VA. Please let me know if you would like to be considered after reviewing the details below.

Carilion Clinic Family Medicine
Pearisburg, VA
Family Medicine:
  • $100 per hour, $250 flat rate for taking evening on call
  • November 5th working 4-6 months with the option to extend
  • Monday through Friday, 8a-5p
  • Current Staff: 3 full time physicians, 1 part-time physician and 5 mid-levels on staff
  • EMR: EPIC
  • Number of exam rooms: 2 rooms open for each provider minimum or up to 3
  • Credentialing timeframe: 90 - 120 days

Call:
  • 1-2 Saturdays per month covering Acute Care Clinic patients
  • Call rotation: 1:4 will include some Pediatric calls

Requirements:
  • Board Certified in Family Practice
  • Must be comfortable taking pediatric calls - Ages: Newborns and up
  • Must be comfortable and experienced with geriatric patients
  • Must be comfortable with chronic disease management
  • Prefer provider to be comfortable with knee injections
  • Prefer provider comfortable with minor sutures - No Faces and no major sutures
