Family Medicine (SA197245) Flemisburg, Kentucky
This northeastern KY hospital is assisting a very established, full service, family medicine practice to find a board certified/board eligible Family Medicine physician. Currently, the practice treats 45 patients/provider/day. They would like to reduce the ratio to 30 patients/provider/day. The physician may admit his/her own patients to the hospital (if desired). If the physician is willing and interested in covering nursing homes in the area, the opportunity is available.
The Hospital is a 52-bed, acute care facility nestled in the rolling hills of northeastern Kentucky, close to the Ohio River. Established in 1962, the original hospital prospered through the years, and a beautiful new facility was opened in 2008 to accommodate its growth and expansion.
The new hospital features many private rooms, expanded operating rooms, a larger Emergency Department, new state-of-the-art magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) equipment and many other enhancements. The new hospital campus boasts approximately 100,000 sq. ft., which enables its more than 260 staff members to provide quality care to residents of Fleming and surrounding counties.
