Medical Doctor Associates (MDA) is working with a great client in northern California who is great need of a Board Certified Family Practice physician. This need begins in mid-June and is ongoing until a permanent candidate can be identified – this has great potential for a locum to permanent candidate!

Brief Description:

• Clinic: Monday – Friday; 40 hours per week; 99% adult patients, 1% pediatric
• Call: Phone Only – 2-3 nights per month; shared with other physicians in the community
• Office Staff: 2 Physician Assistants (you will supervise), 3 Medical Assistants, 5 Front Office, 1 Office Manager. There will be other physicians present as well.
• MD can type chart notes, use Dragon or transcription

Requirements of Candidate:

• Board Certified in Family Practice
• Active/Unrestricted California medical license
• Unrestricted Federal DEA
• Current ACLS certification

MDA will arrange travel and lodging and also provide malpractice insurance while working as a locum tenens physician with MDA. Your compensation is paid via direct deposit on a weekly basis.
