Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide comprehensive patient care in a primary or urgent care outpatient setting
- Diagnose and manage acute and chronic illnesses
- Perform routine examinations and preventive care
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests as needed
- Prescribe medications and develop treatment plans
- Maintain accurate and thorough patient records using Athenahealth EMR
- Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure high standards of care
Additional Information
- Minimum of 3 years experience in Primary Care or Urgent Care outpatient settings required
- Active licensure in Minnesota needed
- Board certification in Family Medicine required
- Certifications required: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), and DEA registration
- Proficiency with Athenahealth EMR is preferred
