Facilitate and coordinate strategic program planning, development, and education as it pertains to medical weight loss best practices.áEasy drive from the north of Boston is less than 1 hour.
About the position:á
- Full time
- Assesses, develops, and recommends a treatment plan for patients seeking medical weight loss management.á
- Examines patients for comprehensive evaluation to include medical history, medication use, psychosocial factors, and behaviors that influence a patient?s weight history
- Performs lab and other diagnostic testing as indicated
- Evaluate findings and reviews with the patient as appropriate
- Recommends and designs a treatment plan which may include pharmaceutical, nutritional, behavioral health, and exercise interventions.
- Develops protocols, treatment plans, and pathways to promote the growth of the program and delivery of innovative patient care.
- áProvides education to patients, physicians, and other members of the multidisciplinary team as it pertains to the Medical Weight Loss patient.
Who we are seeking:áááá
- MD or DO
- Internal Medicine or Family Medicine Residency trained
- Obesity Medicine Fellowship trained or experienced in Obesity Medicine
- Board Certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine with ABOM certification preferred.
