JOB SUMMARY/RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for providing appropriate non-surgical primary and continuing care to patients at North Hawaii Community Hospital's Primary Care Clinic.
- The Primary Care Physician is a member of the healthcare team who works in collaboration with other staff to provide comprehensive healthcare services to patients.
MIMIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Graduate of an accredited School of Medicine or ECFMG certification.
- Current unrestricted license to practice medicine in the State of Hawaii.
- Board certified or board eligible in Family Medicine. If board eligible, must become board certified within the timeframes established by the medical staff by-laws.
- Current BLS/HCP certification.
- Three (3) to five (5) years of clinical experience in an ambulatory setting preferred.
- During the period of employment, shall be and remain a member of the QMC medical staff in good standing with appropriate privileges without restriction.
