An outpatient primary care facility located in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina is seeking a full-time, permanent, Family Medicine Physician (MD/DO) to join their facility! Internal Medicine or Family Medicine!

Essential Duties Major responsibilities:

• Provides primary care services to individuals and families across the lifespan

• Full-time, permanent, direct-hire role!

• Schedule: Flexible but the most common is 5 days, from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm!

• We currently have consultative Psychiatry – Physicians would be expected to write the Rx for their patients seeing tele Psychiatry.

• Clinic Volume: Expected to see about 22 patients per day on an 8-hour schedule & about 26 for a 10-hour day

• Appointments are typically 20 minutes with a few 10-minute walk-ins/same-day quick sick visits

• EMR – eClinical Works (eCW)

• Rotate one week of call between all providers (about 1 week every 3 months)

• Physicians are also asked to prescribe/insert all methods of birth control & women’s well visits

Family Medicine Physician Qualifications:

• Medical Degree (MD or DO)

• Physicians are eligible to apply for loan repayment (NHSC) or SC loan repayment grants

• SC Medical Licensed & SC Controlled Substance authority

• The physician will be responsible for the supervision of FNPs

• Physicians are asked to get their DEA – Medical Assistance Treatment waiver allowing them to prescribe for Substance Use Disorders (Suboxone)

• Board certification/eligibility in Family Medicine and/or Internal Medicine.

• Eligible for unrestricted health center at facilities utilized by the health center

Family Medicine Physician Benefits:

• Administrative time is built into the schedule with about 30-45 mins before lunch at 1 pm & another 30-45 mins prior to leaving at 5:30 pm or 7:00 pm.
