Job Description
A clinic in Texas is seeking a Family Practice Nurse Practitioner to provide quality patient care for a Locum Tenens assignment.
Assignment:
Dates: PRN Coverage
Schedule: Monday - Friday 8am - 6pm
Saturday 8am - 1pm
Setting: Outpatient
Call: No call
Volume: 22-25 patients per shift
Patient Ages: Seeing all ages/ MD Kids Clinics are peds only
Procedures: Physical Exams, colds, coughs, wellness checks, removals, (I&Ds but rarely, if any)
Cases: Urgent Care, Primary Care, Acute Care, COVID testing
Support Staff: 1 MA, 1 MD, and 1 XRT (some sites are solo coverage and MD will not be on-site)
EMR/Charting: Paper
Requirements:
Boards: Board Certified
Certifications: BLS; DEA
