Family Medicine Opportunity - Melrose, MN
Accepts J1 & H1 Visa Candidates
Join a practice centered on the essence of the family medicine experience
- Call approximately 1:6 weekdays with physician staffing Level IV Emergency Department during day and providing back-up call to APP overnights.
- Weekend call with primary hospitalist duties including admissions and rounding. Locums ED coverage means more time at home! Additional ED shifts available for those interested.
- Opportunity to grow obstetrical practice while providing OB back-up call to partners.
- Dedicated primary clinic nurse (CMA, LPN or RN) with support of float nursing
- Co-located workstations for provider/nursing with an additional office
- Opportunity for voice-recognition software (Dragon) or scribe
- Team support including RN nurse lead visits, diabetic education, health care home for complex patient care, legal aide, health care navigator for uninsured/underinsured
- Community health worker and community paramedic for patient engagement and home visits
- Prescription support programs for uninsured/underinsured
- In-room schedulers to promote continuity (follow-up appointments made for patients before they leave the room)
- CentraCare Foundation supported Reach Out & Read Program
- Mental Health support including Integrated Behavioral Health with often same-day video consultation and Psychiatry chart review for medication management
- E-consults for specialty care to allow for PCP management without the wait for a formal consult

- Telestroke and STEMI activation with St. Cloud Hospital
- Advanced imaging with 5 days/week MRI availability, 3D Mammography
- Nitrous oxide for obstetrical and ED patients

- Rehabilitation Services including Multidisciplinary Cardiac Rehabilitation and Pulmonary Rehabilitation
