Avera Medical Group - Windom is seeking a board eligible or board certified family practice physician with or without obstetric experience. The physician will join three family practice physicians and one physician assistant. The opportunity is for a family practice physician who wants to extend his/her experience in a rural health care facility, while enjoying the quality of life that a rural community has to offer.Opportunity
- Employed position with Avera McKennan Hospital
- Call schedule 1:7
- Clinic has pod system – 3+ rooms per physician

- Brand new 12,500 square-foot clinic scheduled to open fall of 2020 which will include Avera eCare telemedicine, leading edge X-ray and laboratory services, 3D mammography and DEXA scan as well as larger, more space-efficient exam and procedure rooms
- Windom Area Hospital – 25 bed facility owned by the City of Windom, recent construction update
- Average census 4-6
- Average 140 births per year
- Hospital completed new surgical and outreach spaces for eleven specialties
- Completely remodeled physical therapy department
- Recently added a wound care and hyperbaric chamber therapy area
- 24/7 ER coverage through third party
