Hospital in Andalusia, Alabama is hiring a BC/BE Family Medicine with OB physician – you’re only 90 minutes from Destin, Florida! Office is conveniently located on the health campus. The <90-bed facility has a 50-year legacy of caring for the patients of the community. Hospital call is 1:3. Office hours are Monday-Thursday, 8am-5pm and Friday, 8am-Noon. See roughly 20 patients per day in the office. Full-time, permanent position with no visa support. The physician will be provided a strong financial package including a competitive base salary, a sign on bonus, production bonus and relocation assistance.
Community: Andalusia is the county seat and the largest city in Covington County. Montgomery, AL is 90 miles North and Fort Walton Beach, FL is only 70 miles south! It’s easily accessible via Interstate 65 or Alabama Highway 55, U.S. 29 or U.S. 84. There is also a few Regional Airports. The community’s public schools are a state and regionally accredited school system. The city school system consistently performs well above the state and national averages on standardized tests and other assessments. Lurleen B. Wallace Community College (LBWCC) provides an excellent two-year program for advanced education on a beautiful 152-acre campus. The Solon Dixon Forestry Education Center, located near Andalusia in the heart of Alabama’s timber country, provides unique opportunities for forestry and wildlife research. The city is also the proud home of the famous World Championship Domino Tournament, the Kiwanis Covington County Fair, and the Solon and Martha Dixon Center for the Performing Arts.
