Responsibilities:

The Department of Medicine at Jacobi Medical Center is recruiting a geriatrician to help us enhance the care of our elderly population. We are located in the North Bronx caring for a diverse and often vulnerable population. The position will be focused on the care of our ambulatory patients working with a group of dedicated primary care internists where clinical care is integrated with the education of our internal medicine residents and students. Other team members will include geriatric psychologists and psychiatrists.

The position comes with a faculty appointment at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Teaching responsibilities include both didactic and clinical teaching of medical students and residents. The selected candidate will work to create innovative educational experiences in the training of individuals caring for a growing aging population. The ideal candidate will be Board Certified in Internal Medicine and have completed an accredited geriatric fellowship. At least 3 years of clinical experience post fellowship is preferred.
