Seeks a geriatric family medicine physician at the assistant or associate professor level who has a passion to educate future physicians, provide top-tier clinical care. In addition to providing excellent patient care, the successful candidate will be actively involved in the teaching of medical students and family medicine residents and fellows. This physician will see patients in a new Family Medicine clinic, medical center hospital, and a local teaching nursing home. Opportunities also exist for clinical research/scholarly activity.
Successful candidates must have an MD, MD/PhD or DO degree (the employer accepts foreign educational equivalent) and be eligible to obtain an unrestricted West Virginia medical license. Candidates must be board certified/eligible in family medicine with additional fellowship training in geriatrics.
