We are seeking an experienced Lead Physician who will set the excellence standard as a clinical services leader within one of our primary-care clinics. Our Provider (Lead Physician) is the bridge between administration and clinical operations. As a lead provider, you will work alongside an Operations Manager and Client Services representative. Management of the clinic and its relationship with its client rests with this triad of leadership. Vera’s mission and clinical model were created to support practitioners who desire to focus on patient care first, develop the patient-provider relationship, and use empathetic listening to empower patients to actively participate in their own wellness goals.
As an experienced healthcare leader and Physician at our Anchorage School District clinic, you’ll partner with a provider team to address acute, chronic, and preventive care needs as well as support patients to reach their wellness goals. As the provider integrated into the care team, you will work alongside a knowledgeable and independent nursing staff as well as a whole health coach who specializes in health behavior change. Vera is proud to have created clinic teams and environments that embrace the collaborative team concept in support of providing quality care to our patients.
Education/Experience:
•Board Certified MD or DO, with family medicine or internal medicine background; Family Medicine.
•3-5 years leading clinic Team Care experience – team of people with shared care responsibility of a patient population.
•5 years primary care experience.
•Current, valid and unrestricted license and valid DEA number.
