Primary Care Physician needed near Harrisonburg, VA. They are looking to add a Family Medicine or Internal Medicine Physician to help with their Post Acute need. Currently there is one Physician in the practice with 4 Part-time NP and 1 Full-time NP. The current Physician will assume a medical director role as other Physicians are recruited.. Grown from 2 to 6 NP’s since Jan 2016. Average number of patients expected at 20-25 with 3-5 nursing homes and rehab facilities. Schedule will be Monday through Friday. Night phone call is shared but very light (average of 1-2 middle of the night calls per week). Doctors never go in.
