**Geriatrician opening: Peoria, IL**
Located 2hr to Chicago
**Position Details**
- Full-time, permanent

- Established and talented team of 4 Physicians and 6 Advance Practice Providers, working in a collaborative environment focusing on patient-centered care.
- Seeking a Physician with a passion for Geriatric Patients and Memory Care, who also has leadership qualities to serve as the Medical Director of three area Nursing Homes.
- You will be part of an engaged and talented team, helping to grow this thriving practice and maintain the high quality and patient satisfaction scores.
- Clinic support staff: 1 RN and 1 Patient Service Rep
- Clinic conveniently located on Hospital Campus
- EPIC EMR
**Responsibilities**
- An outpatient clinic seeing Alzheimers patients 3 days per week
- Nursing home rounding: 2 days per week with a very flexible schedule to see patients in 1-2 nursing homes per day
- Medical Director of three area Nursing Homes: the Geriatrician will receive an additional stipend related to the Medical Directorship responsibilities
- Average patients/day: 7
- Call schedule requirement: 5 days per month including weekends, call handled by phone
**Qualifications**
- MD or DO
- Board Certified in Geriatrics (Board Eligible must meet Board Certification within 5 years of completion of training)
- Hold an unrestricted license to practice medicine in the State of Illinois
- Eligible to work in the United States; H-1B and Permanent Residency sponsorship available
