Not-for-profit, 81 bed acute care medical center is seeking a board certified/board eligible Endocrinologist to join team at new clinic - outpatient only. This is a new specialty the facility is adding and will be on campus in a new building so must be comfortable starting own practice.
Possible UAB affiliation
Will be located in a brand new stat of the art Advanced Care facility
If physician onboard early, may have opportunity to help with building design
Looking for a candidate to start in 2022 or earlier
Medical Center is recognized as one of the premier healthcare facilities of its size in the state of Alabama, serving seven counties with a service area population of 52K+. With cutting-edge technology and approx. 80 physicians on staff, patients are treated in specialties ranging from primary care to radiology, cardiology, oncology and many more. Notable services include: *CT, * in-house PET scanner * MRI * UAB Medicine - Cancer Center* Outpatient rehabilitation facility, including aquatics * Accredited 4-bed sleep center * Wound care & hyperbaric medicine * daVinci Surgical System.
