We are seeking an experienced Thyroidologist with a passion for innovative leadership. Your clinical expertise would drive creation of a regional Thyroid Center in our growing endocrinology department. As a division of our Health System's flagship hospital, our medical group is creating a thyroid focused section in endocrinology. We would love to hear from you if you envision yourself leading the creation of this enterprise from a focused caregiving endeavor to a nationally recognized regional thyroid care center.
Northern Light Eastern Maine Medical Center is a 411 bed, regional tertiary hospital and the flagship medical center of our nine-hospital $1.5 billion Eastern Maine Health System. Our hospital has invested in a new 300 million dollar inpatient tower opened this year and we serve a broad geography in our state.
Our community has a wide array of urban amenities without the traffic or other frustrations of larger cities. Bangor serves as the regional hub for medicine, the arts and commerce. Schools rank among New England's best and the flagship campus of the University of Maine is located in Neighboring Orono. We have easy access to Maine's spectacular coast, mountains and lakes. Bangor International Airport offers direct and one-stop service to most major destinations. If you haven't visited Bangor, it will be well worth the trip.
Do you share in our vision for thyroid patient service?
