**Endocrinology opening in North Carolina**
* Located in ***Elkin, NC*** - 74 miles from Charlotte
* Service area of 135,000 people
* Full time, permanent opening
* Employed position
* Joining an established Adult Medicine practice that focuses on Internal Medicine & Endocrinology
* Current Endocrinologist is solo
* The need for endocrinology has grown in the region, with the closest practice located in Winston-Salem
* Average wait to schedule an appointment is up to 2 months
* Inherit a patient caseload while still maintaining a manageable schedule
* Opportunity to assist with development and expansion of endocrinology practice.
* Schedule: 4 or 4.5 days/week, 8am - 5pm
* Option to include virtual care
* Average 16 - 20 patients/day
* Position will be largely outpatient as inpatient consults are very limited
* The practice deals primarily with diabetes and thyroid cases
* A physician willing to accept thyroid procedures is a plus, however not a requirement
* Base salary of $245,000 + RVU bonus model
* Sign-on bonus of $25,000
* Relocation allowance up to $15,000
* 30 days of ATO
* $4,000 CME allowance
* Student loan reimbursement available
* Cost of NC Medical License and DEA
* Malpractice coverage
* Hybrid - occurrence and claims made - tail coverage provided if left in good standing
