About Laquinta, California:

La Quinta is known as the “Gem of the Desert”, La Quinta, California is located in Southern California’s Coachella Valley, just 30 minutes from Palm Springs and 2.5 hours from Greater Los Angeles area. With its small-town friendliness, La Quinta is a peaceful and relaxing community. However, it is also a year-round, multi-recreational and destination resort community enjoyed by visitors and residents alike. La Quinta enjoys low humidity combined with an abundant 350+ days of sunshine annually. In La Quinta the “good life” can be found in abundance. It is a great place to live, work, play, or raise a family.

La Quinta’s average age of 36 makes its population younger than most neighboring desert cities. La Quinta’s real estate developments are also newer than most area cities. In the coming years, it is likely that La Quinta will become the new center of the greater Palm Springs area, as development continues eastward toward the Salton Sea.
