Endocrinologist needed 100 miles from Indianapolis, IN and Chicago, IL

Medical Group seeks a board eligible/board certified Endocrinologist to join a very busy, established practice. This 100% Endocrinology and predominantly outpatient opportunity is due to increasing demand in the community. The service area encompasses 23 counties with a current population of over one million residents. The practice staff consists of one other endocrinologist and five advanced practitioners; three NP’ s cover the hospital with occasional clinic coverage and two others are designated specifically for the clinic.

Group uses the Shared Medical Appointment approach for diabetes treatment and education. The onsite Certified Diabetic Educator performs a series of three classes covering medical conditions, medications, treatment options and test results. The practice Registered Dietitian provides nutrition instruction.

The current clinic hours are Monday – Friday, 8 am – 5 pm; procedures include ultrasounds, thyroid biopsies and needle aspirations. The anticipated call schedule is 1: 4. No Visa support offered.
