COVERAGE REQUIREMENTS Emergency Medicine (EM)
- 10-14 shifts per month
- October or ASAP start ongoing
- Expected length of assignment: 12-16 months
POSITION DETAILS Emergency Medicine (EM)
- Location: 1.5 hours west of Savannah, GA
- BC/BE in EM, IM, or FP
- 2080 ED hours in last 24 months at a hospital with annual volume of 30k+
- ACLS, ATLS, PALS required
- 12-hour shifts, 6a-6p and 6p-6a
- Level III
- Annual volume of 33,000
- Ortho, General Surgery, Cardiology backup specialties
- EMR: Meditech
- Full 12-hour shadow/orientation shift prior to start
- Advanced Practitioners on staff - typically two at a time but their shift times vary
- 10% admits
- Total ED beds & fast track beds: 22
- Emergency Medicine (EM) needed
