TeamHealth has an opportunity for a physician leader to join our team as medical director at Ottumwa Regional Health Center in Ottumwa, Iowa. This 120-bed hospital has 17 emergency department beds with an annual volume of 20,000/year and an admission rate of 9%. There are 12 hours of daily advanced practice clinician coverage, and a hospitalist program is in place. Ottumwa Regional Health Center is a level IV trauma center. The EMR is Meditech. The facility features an EMS base station and specialty back-up for the cath lab, surgery, neurology, OB/Gyn, ophthalmology, orthopedics, pediatrics, and more. We require that candidates be board certified in emergency medicine or primary care with emergency department experience.
