Job Description

Last Update: 6/11/19
A hospital located in Illinois is seeking an EM physician to join their organization. Applicants are required to be board certified in EM, IM or FM. The facility is seeking an additional physician to support the expanding community. Your schedule will be 13 or more 12-hour shifts per month working at a level 2 trauma center. You will be supported by advanced practice providers and other EM physicians. An IL license will be required for this position. If you do not currently hold a license in IL, CompHealth can assist you with the process. Final-year residents and fellows will be considered. J1 and H-1B visa holders are welcome to apply.

This opportunity can be set up as an employed position or independent contractor position. It has a competitive compensation package with bonuses. Depending on the option, you will be offered malpractice coverage, medical benefits, CME time, a sign-on bonus, life insurance, relocation reimbursement, and a 401(k) retirement package.

You will enjoy living in this area bounded by the Ohio and Mississippi rivers and dotted with accessible lakes nestled in the great hardwoods in the hills of the Shawnee National Forest. The area is rich with state parks, including famous Giant City State Park and Lodge, Garden of the Gods, and Little Grand Canyon. There is boating and sailing, fishing, hiking and rock climbing, winding horse trails, and miles of cycling paths. You can also tee up at over 25 golf courses or take a trip on the southern Illinois wine trail where you can visit dozens of wineries and bed and breakfasts. Music festivals and local fairs are numerous, and there are many historical attractions, unique shops, and fine eateries with local and international cuisine.

This is an excellent opportunity to work with a great organization where you can share your skills and expertise. With access to the largest bank of temporary and permanent positions nationwide, CompHealth will help you find a practice opportunity that truly matches your criteria.
