MedCare Staffing is currently seeking Emergency Medicine Trained Physicians for Locum Tenens/Contract work at a VAMC in Albany, New York. Our Veterans do SO much for us and this a chance to serve them. Contract/Locums work with the federal government offers amazing opportunities for travel, as Any State Medical License is acceptable.

Flexible scheduling around your availability

Designed to Fill:

Monday - Sunday

12 hour shifts

8am-8pm or 8pm-8am

No Call

No Resident Supervision

Facility:

Level III - No Trauma

Daily ER Volume: Approx. 14 patients per 12 hour shift (approx. 28/day)

Annual ER Volume: approx. 12,000/year

Generally 1 physician and 1 midlevel staffed per 12 hour shift

Day: 5 nurses, 1 tech, 1 ward clerk

Evening: approx. 4 nurses

Overnight: 2 nurses, 1 tech (midnight - 7:30 am)

1 registration staff 24/7 for ED patient registration

There is also a Fast Track staffed by PA or NP Monday-Saturday

Period of Performance:

7/1/18-6/30/19

Credentialing completed - One year base period

Plus 4 one-year option periods

Requirements:

Federal DEA

BLS/ACLS/ACLS/ATLS

Board Certified or proof of Board Eligibility

Active Medical License
