DocStar Medical Partners is working with an amazing client in Greenville, North Carolina who is currently seeking an Emergency Medicine physician.

ASSIGNMENT: Locums Tenens - 3 month initial contract, with possibility of an extension.

Job Summary:

Located in Roanoke Rapids, North Carolina, we are seeking an experienced board certified physician to provide locums coverage in the Emergency Department. Providers must have practiced Emergency Medicine in the past 12 months. New providers will need to come in the day before scheduled their start date for orientation.

Coverage Needed:

Nights only, 9p-7a.

August shifts need coverage: 20, 21, 22, 25, 26, and 27

September shifts need coverage: 3, 4, 5, 8, 9, 10, 12, 13, 17, 18, 19, 23, 24, 29, and 30

Required certifications if NOT EM trained (no exceptions): ACLS, ATLS & PALS

Must have practiced Emergency Medicine in the last 12 months.

Highlights include:

• 204-bed community hospital
• 26-bed emergency department with 6 designated Psych beds
• 4-bed convenient care staffed by one Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant and an RN or Paramedic
• EHR -EPIC
• 24-hour Hospitalist and Radiology coverage
• Procedures required: Suturing, assessments, radiology, lab and CT interpretation, foreign body removal, limited ophthalmology, muscular skeletal, infectious processes
