Overview
Allegheny Health Network Emergency Medicine Management (AHNEMM) is a joint venture of US Acute Care Solutions and the Allegheny Health Network (AHN). Formed to meet the emergency medicine needs of AHN and its affiliated hospitals, AHNEMM aligns physician, hospital and payor to do what’s best for patients by creating high-quality, innovative and efficient models of care.
We are seeking an EMS fellowship-trained or experienced EMS physician for a unique EMS Medical Director opportunity. This position has a regional focus providing direction to 16 services and over 200 EMTs and Paramedics.

Emergency Department
- ED Volume: 30,000
- Moderate acuity with broad pathology (anticipated)
- Full-service ED with special areas for pediatric and behavioral health patients
- Open, efficient layout with 24 ED rooms including two behavioral health and four pediatric rooms
- EPIC EMR with M-Modal dictation
- Two CT scanners and MRI in the imaging unit directly adjacent to the ED
- Facilities for LifeFlight helicopter and ambulance services
- Active with local EMS
Hospital
- Wexford was designed to create a warm, inviting environment and outstanding patient experience; features include rooftop gardens for relaxation and free parking/valet service
- The hospital will open with 100 private rooms, with the capability to expand to 160 private rooms if needed
- This brand-new community hospital will offer a full range of medical services, specialty care and advanced technologies including emergency medicine and:
- Labor, delivery and neonatal intensive care

- Laboratory testing
- Minimally-invasive, robotic-assisted surgery
