Job Description: Spectrum Healthcare Resources has a potential opportunity for a civilian Flight Medicine Physician at Davis-Monthan Air Force Base in Tucs0n, Arizona (AZ). The Flight Surgeon position offers: - Outpatient Clinic - Monday Friday, 7:30 am 4:30 pm - No nights, No weekends, no Holidays - No On Call - Freedom from Malpractice Insurance Worries Requirements: The Flight Surgeon will have the following requirements: - Any State License - Successful completion of an accredited Aerospace Medicine Residency and served as an Air Force Chief of Aerospace is preferred but physicians having served in a flight medicine billet for at least 1 year may be acceptable if approved by the Chief of Aerospace Medicine. Other Department of Defense (DoD) and civilian trained Flight Surgeons may be considered, but require Chief of Aerospace Medicine approval - BLS - Current board certification by one of the following boards: the American Board of Preventive Medicine (Aerospace Medicine and/or Occupational Medicine), the American Board of Family Medicine, the American Board of Emergency Medicine, American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians, or board certified by the American Osteopathic Association through the American Osteopathic Board of Preventive Medicine.
