Position Description

PCOM South Georgia is seeking a part-time clinical faculty position in emergency medicine to lecture and skills laboratory.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Duties and responsibilities include (but are not limited to) the following:

  • Develop and manage a lecture schedule with assigned Emergency Medicine topics using primary source information.
  • Collaborate with faculty on test question review, curriculum, learning objectives and lectures; and analyze the outcomes for years one through four of medical school.
  • May participate in clinical lectures off-campus in residency programs or with an online system as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Position Requirements

*Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. and pass a criminal background check.

Education

  • Candidates should have a minimum of a doctorate degree in a related field (DO, MD) with five years of recent and related clinical experience.

Experience

  • Five (5) years of recent and related clinical experience.
  • A seasoned educator with experience teaching and working with medical students in a clinical setting.

Certifications, Licenses, Registrations

  • Board certification in the candidate's field is desired.
  • Must have a valid driver's license as off-campus travel is required.
