Excellent Opportunity for the Board Certified or Eligible Emergency Medicine Physician. This Non-Designated Department sees about 9,000 patients per year and the physicians can work either 12 or 24 hour shifts. Serious Trauma or Pediatrics is transferred by helicopter to St. Louis. Physicians can be either Emergency Medicine trained or trained in a Primary Care specialty with 2000 hours of documented EM worked. Located less then 80 miles from metropolitan St. Louis this location offers the great scenery, hiking and all the outdoor activities while still only being a short drive from St. Louis.
