<p>Envision Physician Services is seeking a Regional Medical Director for our Emergency Medicine Division for the greater Ft. Lauderdale / Miami, Florida metropolitan area.</p><p><b>Job Description Overview:</b></p><p>The Regional Medical Director (RMD) plans and directs all aspects of the organizations medical policies and programs within the region. Responsible for strategic clinical relationships with medical directors and physicians within the region. Ensures all regional clinical programs are in compliance. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of complex tasks and leads and directs the work of others. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is required.</p><p>In summary, the RMD will provide on-site support in management of the clinical aspects of the Emergency Medicine Division operations including:</p><ul> <li>Departmental operations</li> <li>New contract start-ups</li> <li>Quality Improvement</li> <li>Patient Satisfaction</li></ul><p><b>Administrative Functions</b></p><ul> <li>Risk Management</li></ul><p><b>Additional information:</b></p><ul> <li>Qualified candidates must be Board Certified Emergency Medicine Physician (ABEM or AOBEM) with previous leadership experience</li> <li>Reports directly to the Senior Vice President</li> <li>This is an exciting opportunity and offers an excellent compensation package</li></ul> <p>Regional Medical Director will oversee several locations in the greater Ft. Lauderdale / Miami area. Emergency department locations volume range from 32,000 to 98,000 patient visits per year.</p> <p>From the gorgeous beaches spanning the spectacular coastline to thrilling trips through Florida&#39;s famous Everglades to sightseeing cruises, fishing charters and visits to the fun-packed Las Olas Boulevard, green golf courses and peaceful neighborhoods, in Ft.
