Pediatric Emergency Medicine opportunity in metro St. Louis
Highly regarded, academically affiliated hospital seeking to fill a full time faculty position in the Department of Pediatrics/Pediatric Emergency Medicine. The Pediatric Emergency Department which is a Level I Pediatric Trauma Center cares for over 54,000 patients per year.
The chosen candidate will have an Emergency Assistant Professor status and will be required to contribute to the educational mission of the School of Medicine, engage in scholarly activities, exhibit common ethical standards, and maintain collegial relationships.
Specific duties include having a strong clinical background in pediatric emergency medicine, either by fellowship training and/or Board Certification, with a commitment to excellence in care of patients and education. Development of key relationships with team members. Develop and implement safety improvement in patient care and expand pediatric and emergency medicine knowledge.
The incoming physician will receive a competitive compensation package including full benefits.
