Cross Country Locums is seeking a Locum Tenens (LT) ABEM, physician. Will also consider ABFM physicians for a locum tenens assignment located one hour from Lafayette., LA.
Board certified and residency trained in EM of FP physician to work desired schedule: 7A-7P or 7P-7A. APC's work 10A-9 and 1P-12A fast track. Back up specialties include: OB/GYN, General Surgery, Urology, and pulminology.
Work site setting: & scope of work: Annual ED volume of 29,570; 8 ED beds, 3 fast track beds, Admit rate 4%, transfer rate .5%, ; EMR: Meditech; Dragon dictation system; EMS does a great job of NOT bringing critically ill/injured patients to this facility; Privileging Process 60-90 days.
Compensation is via weekly direct deposit. Cross Country Locums provides A++ professional malpractice Insurance and has a dedicated in house travel department who will arrange and pay for all required travel.
