We are seeking a Board Certified Emergency Medicine Physician for our full-time employed position to staff our facility at Roxborough Memorial Hospital. Work schedule includes 12 hour shifts. Excellent benefits including medical/dental/vision/life, 401K, and CME allowance.

EMERGENCY DEPARTMENT

The 25 bed emergency department includes specialized treatment areas for critical care, mental health and fast track non-critical care to improve the care process and reduce waiting times. Roxborough Memorial Emergency Department has has 24/7/365 coverage of board certified emergency physicians.

FACILITY

Roxborough Memorial Hospital is a 141-bed community hospital. The hospital has been serving the medical and health care needs of the Roxborough, Manayunk, East Falls and northwest section of Philadelphia communities for more than a century, having first opened its doors in 1890. Roxborough Memorial Hospital is part of Prime Healthcare, one of the top health systems in the United States in addition with Lower Bucks Hospital, and Suburban Community Hospital. Roxborough Memorial's medical staff is comprised of more than 300 physicians representing many specialties. Services include emergency, cardiology, gastroenterology, gynecology, Same Day Surgery, outpatient physical and occupational therapy, a 8-bed rehabilitation unit, a 24-bed geropsychiatric unit, 17-bed medical-psychiatric unit, radiology (including CT, MRI), interventional radiology, a laboratory facility for inpatient and outpatient testing, inpatient dialysis services, and the Comprehensive Wound Healing Center with a two hyperbaric oxygen chambers. With four operating suites, Roxborough Memorial offers general surgery, vascular and thoracic surgery, urological surgery, otolaryngology (ear, nose and throat), gynecologic surgery, plastic surgery, eye surgery, laser surgery, as well as a wide range of orthopedic procedures including reconstruction, arthroscopy, joint replacement, spinal surgery, hand and upper extremity surgery. Foot and ankle surgery is also performed by both orthopedic as well as podiatric surgeons.
