Infinity Healthcare/Envision Physician Services is seeking an Emergency Medicine Physicians in Springfield, IL

Provider Requirements: ABEM/AOBEM; 16 Hours Pediatric CME/year, 10 Hours Trauma CME/year; PALS and ATLS

St. John's is a Regional Medical Center that offers a comprehensive array of tertiary health care services to a population of 1.5 million in central and southern Illinois. For more than 136 years, it has provided a unique brand of care that reflects its dedication to their patients. St. John's offers access to the most up-to-date and advanced technology, which greatly enhances its diagnostic and treatment capabilities. St. John’s is also one of the teaching hospitals for Southern Illinois University School of Medicine. There is an Emergency Medicine Residency that providers teaching opportunity for the Emergency Physicians. In addition it is a Level 1 Trauma Center for Adults and a Level II Trauma Center for Pediatrics.

St. John’s is also the base hospital for Prairie Heart Institute that offers the most state-of-the-art treatment for any cardiac issue. Patients arriving by EMS for a STEMI bypass the ED and go straight to the cardiac cath lab for intervention.

St. John’s Hospital is located in the Capital of Illinois, Springfield. It is located off interstate 55 and is serviced by Amtrak from Chicago and St. Louis. St. John’s provides an array of health care services to the population of 1.5 million in central and southern Illinois. Just south of town is Lake Springfield which is great for boating, fishing and other recreational activities. Here you will also find the home of Abraham Lincoln, his burial site and the Lincoln Presidential Library.
