TeamHealth has an excellent opportunity for a physician to join our emergency department team at Hilton Head Regional Medical Center in Hilton Head Island, South Carolina. Hilton Head is a world-class resort community, home to both young professionals and retirees. This semi-tropical island has 12 miles of picturesque beaches. Enjoy days basking in the sun, sand and surf of some of the best beaches in the country. Get into the swing of things at your choice of 24 world-class golf courses and 350 tennis courts, embark on a culinary journey at one of over 250 restaurants, or simply walk your way to a new outdoor adventure. The 23-bed ED at Hilton Head Regional Medical Center sees 23,000 annual ED visits and offers 30-36 hours of physician coverage and 12-hour shifts. The EMR is Cerner First Net and 15% of the volume is pediatrics with a 19-20% admittance rate. We ask that you be board certified or board eligible in Emergency Medicine with a completed residency in Emergency Medicine. ACLS and PALS certification is also required.
