Candidates must be BC/BE in Emergency Medicine

Swedish American Hospital, a division of UW Health- the integrated health system of the University of Wisconsin- Madison, serves as the primary teaching hospital for the University of Illinois College of Medicine. They have provided high quality healthcare services to the community of Rockford for over 95 years. The facility has forty individual treatment rooms, digital X-Ray capabilities linked across the entire Health System, as well as 24 hour on-site MRI availability.

• 65,000 annual volume
• Level II Trauma Center
• 48 hours of daily physician coverage; 9 and 10-hour shifts
• 70 hours of daily APP coverage
• 313 In-patient beds
• State of Illinois recognition as an ED Approved for Pediatrics (EDAP)
• Stroke and Chest Pain Center
