Emergency Physician needed to join our fast paced emergency department- You will need to work at two campuses. Annual visits are 35,000 at one campus and and 20,000 at the other. The larger campus was built in 2013 and the ED has 27 rooms. The other ED has 22 rooms.
Total hours per year required to work is 1521- a full time physician works a minimum of seven 9 hour shifts every two weeks. Base plus incentive ability to pick up additional shifts for moonlighting.
Education loan reimbursement of up to $160,000 over eight years.
BC / BE in Emergency Medicine preferred, but boarding in other specialties with ED experience accepted. Level II Emergency Department, annual volume 35,000 / year with fast track. Medical backup from staff of 130 physicians including Hospitalist Service. Generous time off to enjoy skiing, boating, fly fishing, bicycling, hiking, and other activities Central Maine has to offer.
Schedule is 32 hours per week with PTO, including malpractice, pension, CME time and dollars. Generous Incentive Plan!
Community is located in scenic central Maine and is a short drive away form ski resorts, lakes and rivers. Award wining golf courses, abundant hiking trails and the beautiful Maine Coast. Just one hour north of Portland, Maine's largest city, and 3 hours to Boston.
