We are looking for a Locum APP for our Weekend Call coverage for our client Open Heart Surgery Center in Altoona, PA. Please see the details below and let me know if you are interested.
Details:
Need for weekend coverage: Friday at 8:00 AM to Monday at 8:00 AM: locum Advanced Practice Provider (APP) either a physician assistant or nurse practitioner to provide week call coverage for an open heart surgery practice at Altoona, PA, 16601.
Clinical skill: PA or NP must have experience in endo-vascular vein harvesting (EVH). The EVS system used is: Marquet.
Timeframe: weekends now till December 31, 2018.
Assignment: will be on-call for surgery. No clinic. Weekend patient rounding on approximately 5 patients in hospital.
Current cardio-thoracic surgery volume: 15 – 20 cases per month.
Procedures: in most instances, any weekend procedure needs would be addressed by the surgeon on call not the APP. Although the APP may be called in to assist the surgeon.
Surgeons: current 2 cardio-thoracic surgeons.
EMR Used; Cerner
Credentialing: 2 weeks – 4 weeks.
Licensure: need current/active PA license and current ACLS certification.
Competitive Pay, Malpractice and Travel will be covered.
