An exciting locum tenens critical care medicine opportunity is now available in Illinois. The provider will work 12-hour shifts covering either days or nights depending on immediate need. The locum tenens physician will see approximately 8 - 16 patients per day, and must know vent management, central lines, bronchoscopies, chest tubes, and other general pulmonary inpatient procedures. Candidates must be board certified. An ACLS certification is crucial for qualifying for this assignment. Hospital privileging will be handled with help from our dedicated credentialing team. The ideal candidate will be a local physician and have an active, unrestricted IL state medical license in-hand. This is a great location offering a unique blend of rural and urban influences.
