Metro NY EM Locums Need

Facility info:

• 33 Bed ED
• 56,500 annual volume
• 40% admission rate

Practice Info:

• Need two EM providers
• At least a 3 month assignment with option to extend
• EMR – EDMIS
• Shift times: 9-10 hour shifts, flexible schedule

Privileging Requirements:

• Must be BC/BE EM
• Only PALS is required for ER.

Additional Information:

• There is a 9 bed fast track area, all private rooms with monitors, O2, etc. rarely used as a fast track given their high acuity and very low volume of urgent care visits.
• No Psych (transferred)
• No RDU (20 bed SSU run in-house by hospitalists)
• No Trauma or critical peds by ambulance, otherwise transferred
• We have an inpatient detox unit, medical clearance through ED
