Less than an hour to Charlotte via interstate - Excellent Schools - Physician Group: This Level III trauma center sees just over 40,000 patients per year. PA's and EM physicians provide quite adequate coverage each day. Many backup specialties are available and there are roughly 400 beds in the hospital. County population is in the range of 125,000 and is less than an hour to two of the largest cities in western North Carolina. Since you do not have to live in this city you can have a short commute to work and to Charlotte, or to Greensboro. Earn well over $130 per hour as an Independent Contractor. Malpractice insurance = 1M/3M claims made plus tail.
