We are seeking a BE/BC EM Physician for our full-time employed Medical Director Emergency Medicine Physician opportunity to join our emergency department team. We offer flexible shift-scheduling options to provide you with the most optimal work/life balance to meet your lifestyle needs. Generous benefits are available to eligible providers, including medical, dental, vision, 401(K) match, and CME allowance. The provider will work 10-12 shifts per month, attends multiple leadership meetings during the week, manage schedule for physicians and oversees scheduling of the physician assistant. The provider will be a member of the ED PI committee and Medical Staff Improvement Committee.

OUR EMERGENCY DEPARTMENT

Every year, our emergency department treats more than 63,000 patients. Our highly skilled clinical team of emergency and critical care-trained physicians, Advanced Practice Providers, and nurses provide treatment around the clock, seven days a week. Ancillary staff includes nursing assistants, technicians, unit secretaries, social work staff, and volunteers.

Designated as a Level III Trauma Center by the American College of Surgeons (ACS) Committee on Trauma - one of only four community hospitals on Long Island to earn this designation – the hospital is able to treat all trauma cases from mid-Suffolk to as far east as Montauk, making us an integral part of Suffolk County’s Emergency Medical Service program.
