Integrative Emergency Services (IES) is currently seeking a qualified Medical Director to oversee the operations of the emergency department in collaboration with nursing leadership and hospital administration at ShorePoint Health Venice. The facility is a 312-bed, acute care hospital and is part of the ShorePoint Health Network. Accredited by the Joint Commission, ShorePoint Health Venice provides an array of health care services to the greater Venice area. The hospital and its affiliated ShorePoint Medical Group clinics provide quality health care that is accessible to residents and visitors across Central and South Sarasota County. The hospital’s services include cardiac, stroke, orthopedic, metabolic, open-heart and advanced surgery, wound care, women’s care and interventional radiology.

Candidates for this position need to be ABEM/ABOEM board-certified with leadership experience in Emergency Department operations
Ideal candidate will have 1+ years of medical director or assistant director experience or successful completion of an EM Administrative Fellowship.
Possess knowledge of process improvement techniques, and demonstrate successful implementation of efforts impacting quality, efficiency, patient experience, and/or physician engagement.
