Dermatology-Trained Dermatopathologist - F65920

The Department of Dermatology, Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine/VCU Health System, is seeking a full-time faculty member in the role of dermatologist/dermatopathologist. The successful candidate will be Board certifed in Dermatology and Dermatopathology. Major responsibilities include providing clinical services for the Department of Dermatology and serving as a liaison between the Department of Pathology and Dermatology. Sign out responsibilities will include dermatopathology and limited surgical pathology service in a niche area of surgical pathology. This individual will participate in the training of dermatology and pathology residents, teach medical students, and work closely with the Mohs surgeon. The successful candidate must have demonstrated interest and ability in research and scholarly activity through publication in professional journals and presentations at national meetings. In addition, the candidate should have experience working in and fostering a diverse faculty, staff, and student environment or show a commitment to do so as a faculty member at VCU. The position will be offered at an academic rank of Assistant or Associate Professor, commensurate with experience.
