Dermatology Opportunity - Pittsburgh, PA (Major Metro)
Description
The Department of Dermatology is seeking a board certified/board eligible Dermatologist with strong clinical skills to join our full-time faculty. This unique academic position will include the supervision of resident clinics, participation in the faculty practice plan, and protected time for efforts in resident and medical student education and scholarly activities. The Department has a multidisciplinary presence with collaborative efforts for the care of solid organ transplant patients, adolescent and pediatric dermatology patients, cutaneous lymphoma patients, with Transplant Surgery, Pediatrics and Pediatric Dermatology, and Hematology and Oncology.
In addition, the Department of Dermatology is a nationally recognized leader in basic science and translational research. Research opportunities are available for those seeking that career path.
The Department’s outpatient facilities include offices at the main campus of UPMC and satellite facilities that provide a private practice setting. All our clinical sites possess the opportunity for collegial management of patients, research collaboration, and mentorship of junior faculty and trainees.
