Medical Director

A state-of-the-art aesthetic medical practice in Oklahoma City is seeking a qualified physician to serve as Medical Director. The Medical Director will provide visionary leadership to the management and clinical teams and provide clinical oversight for all services performed, developing and ensuring the adherence to proper medical protocols.

Medical supervision to include:
  • Approve and help implement medical protocols
  • Ensure all non-physician providers under their supervision:
    • Have adequate and appropriate training for the services they will provide
    • Perform their duties in a safe and responsible manner
    • Adhere to the physician orders and direction provided in the medical protocols
  • Be available for any patient or staff questions or problems regarding the treatments offered, and respond to those questions and concerns in a timely manner
  • Provide medical guidance and direction as required
  • Keep himself/herself well-informed and up-to-date on all clinical aspects of the services performed
  • Maintain a closer familiarity with the established protocols
  • Help ensure appropriate maintenance and storage of all patients' medical records, following HIPAA guidelines
  • Regularly review the incident log book and follow up as appropriate
  • Regularly perform and document a chart review for each provider
  • Regularly meet with the Practice Manager to discuss reviews and any concerns with regard to efficiency or other issues
  • The ideal candidate will have experience in or knowledge of aesthetic medical services
