Essen Health Care has an opening for a Dermatologist to for an opening at Essen Medical Associates at a location in Bronx New York area.

Founded in 1999, Essen Medical Associates, P.C. is a comprehensive multi-specialty medical group with 20 medical offices located throughout the Bronx. At Essen Medical Associates we are committed to providing quality medical care in a comfortable environment where the patient always comes first. As one of the initial practices to have achieved ‘Level 3 Patient Centered Medical Home’ designation in New York, our mission is to provide highest quality care that is professional, compassionate, and patient-focused.

Examines, diagnoses and treats patients

Ensures fulfillment of Essen Health Care commitment for ensuring quality care

Diagnoses and treats variety of diseases in general practice

Collects, records and maintains accurate patient information

Documents items such as: past medical, family, and social history, review of systems, examinations, medications, allergies, assessment and plan

Requests and performs biopsies, sample tissue collections, or other tests as needed

Analyzes reports and findings of tests and of examination, and diagnoses condition

Administers or prescribes treatments

Orders lab and imaging tests to determine and manage an immediate treatment plan

Advises patients methods for prevention of disease

Qualifications

Board Certified or Board Eligible Dermatology

Licensed in New York State

Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite

Strong desire to help people and improve their daily lives

Compassionate and sensitive to patients’ needs and concerns

Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
