Job Description

Last Update: 6/30/20

Dermatologist needed to take over an existing patient base, to be the only Dermatologist in our service area.

Candidate needs to be BC/BE, and US trained or completed a US residency/fellowship. J-1/H1B visa candidates are welcomed. Future residency graduates are also encouraged to apply. Employment options available: hospital employment, employment with future transition into private practice, or private practice with an income guarantee. We simply want to recruit and retain the best physicians possible.

Competitive base salary plus incentives and generous benefits, with an excellent signing bonus.

We are the only hospital in the county, with service area population of 110,000. Named in the top 25 “connected” hospitals by Health Imaging and IT, we have a brand new 100,000 square feet of space encompassing ER and patient rooms that overlook a beautiful lake. We’ve also achieved more than 90th percentile in Press Ganey patient satisfaction score. With multitude of diagnostic and interventional support services and an infrastructure to support medical practices, we are deeply committed to partnering with physicians for their practice success.

Named one of the next 50 towns to live in by National Geographic Adventure, we are a “not-so-rural community” of 50,000 people. Medical Economics magazine lists Oregon as the sixth best state for physicians to practice medicine, and we are listed as the "Best Town You've Never Heard of" in Oregon. Located at the base of the beautiful Cascades Mountains at 4,000 feet above sea level, it offers four seasons, mild climate, affordable housing, arts and theater and is home to Oregon Institute of Technology. The community is easily navigable, with brief commutes. To travel farther afield, there is an International Airport in Medford, OR, about an hour's drive away.

Recreational activities abound in the outdoors. World-class fishing, hunting, mountain biking, hiking, rock climbing, white water rafting, ATVing, skiing, snowshoeing, snowmobiling, etc., are all available and frequent hobbies of the community residents. The incredible natural beauty of the Northwest’s largest fresh water lake, the Pacific water fowl migratory flyway, and the access to Pacific Crest Trail all make our community a relaxing place to live and to call home.
