The University of Central Florida, College of Medicine (UCF-COM) is seeking applications from outstanding Board-Eligible, or Board-Certified, Dermatologists to help expand the Services of UCF-Health. This is a unique opportunity to join an academic dermatology program at a large metropolitan medical college. Applicants for this faculty position will be considered at the level of assistant, associate or full professor commensurate with training and experience.

As one of the nation’s largest universities, UCF has demonstrated excellence in technology, science, and simulation. The College of Medicine is LCME accredited and home to 120 medical students per graduating class. The UCF-HCA Consortium residency programs now host over 100 residents including programs in internal and emergency medicine and have recently been approved for a rheumatology fellowship as well. The College of Medicine serves as the anchor of a broader biomedical cluster dedicated to innovation in health and wellness known as “Medical City” at Lake Nona, which continues to develop just east of the Orlando International Airport. 500 acres now hold the UCF Health Sciences Campus, Nemours Children’s Hospital, the VA Medical Center Orlando, as well as the University of Florida’s Orlando Research and Pharmacy campus.

UCF Health is the clinical faculty practice of UCF COM. This multi-specialty care practice provides outstanding patient care and creates opportunities for medical education and clinical research. The guiding principles for this practice include patient-centered and collaborative multidisciplinary care, a commitment to evidence-based medicine, measurement of nationally recognized quality metrics and an orientation toward innovation and ever-higher standards of quality care and patient safety.

UCF is an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer. All qualified applicants are encouraged to apply, including minorities, women, veterans and individuals with disabilities. As a Florida public university, UCF makes all application materials and selection procedures available to the public upon request.
